Maciej Romanowski is a London-based composer whose music is shaped by adventure and curiosity. When not in his studio, he's out and about cycling around the city, often recording cool ambiances and textures he encounters to incorporate into his compositions. Alongside a personal milestone of a 200km round trip cycle to Brighton, its his curiosity for recording random sounds around him that truly inspire him.

Off the bike, Maciej enjoys spending time with friends and family over board games, from classics like Catan and Scrabble to something more strategic like Great Western Trail. Road trips are another source of inspiration for him, with adventures through the Dolomites and Italian lakes helping him spark new musical ideas.

Influenced by Bear McCreary, John Powell, Stravinsky and Rachamninoff, as well as  a whole host of choral music, taking him back to his early upbringing as a choir boy, Maciej's compositions bring a fresh, human touch to every project, helping transport listeners to fantastical realms.
